WHO Toolkit on SRHR by and for women living with HIV

We are delighted to announce that WHO Department of Sexual and Reproductive Health has commissioned Salamander Trust, ICW Global and other partners to support implementation of the 2017 WHO Consolidated Guideline on sexual and reproductive health and rights of women living with HIV.

Proposed activities will build upon existing resources, including two complementary toolkits previously developed by and for women living with HIV, and for health workers. A highly experienced core team and advisory group of women living with HIV in all their diversity from around the world, will support and guide this work.

Salamander Trust will develop and adapt this women’s toolkit for a global audience of women living with HIV, to ensure it is shaped by and for women living with HIV in relation to their sexual and reproductive health and rights.

This work, which is taking place over the coming 5 months, is part of a broader programme of work, which is creating a parallel toolkit for use by health workers supporting women living with HIV (conducted by another team), and facilitating use of the implementation checklist in three countries (conducted by ICW Global), and three regions of India.
